About

ORA Singers Graduate Composers was born from the success of the Young Composers' and Commissioning programmes, and marks the completion of our Composers' Pathway: Our complete pipeline of support for composers at any stage in their career.

The Graduate Composers Showcase offers an opportunity for early career composers to kick-start their portfolios and become commissioned by ORA Singers to write a new choral work. Each Graduate Composer will receive a commission fee and a guaranteed world premiere by ORA Singers.

Applications are now open for the ORA Singers Graduate Composers' scheme. To apply, simply complete the online application form and upload an Entry Composition. 

Applications close at 12pm on 22nd January 2024.

Eligibility

 Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree, graduating no earlier than 2021.

 

 Applicants may have graduated with a degree in any subject from any University or Conservatoire in the

United Kingdom. 

 

Applicants studying at post-graduate level are eligible to apply, if they graduated no earlier than 2021.

 

Applicants must be resident in the United Kingdom.
